• Steven J Coker, Founder & CEO - By His Hands of NC, Inc.
After a long and successful career in engineering & construction, Steve after self-examination and soul-searching believed that he needed to be involved in a cause larger than oneself. Steve credits his beloved Mother, for instilling within him the compassion for those suffering and in need. He has always been involved in charity-related issues, and in May 2013, with nothing but a driving vision to make a difference, Steve established and founded By His Hands of North Carolina, a 501C3 public charitable foundation. Steve believed he had an obligation as well as a responsibility to "give back", and to recognize that he was the "somebody else". He also believed that he and the partners of By His Hands could be influential and make a difference in the lives of those in need within the footprint of Raleigh and Wake County.
