By His Hands did such a wonderful time helping families in need by providing food for their thanksgiving meals! What a wonderful organization!

By His Hands is a ministry that genuinely seeks to serve the homeless and marginalized through the love of Jesus Christ.  Founder and CEO, Steve Coker, is passionate about bringing hope to those in the shadows by meeting the practical needs of individuals which opens doors to lasting life change.  I have been blessed to work with Steve and his volunteers as they provided 200 Thanksgiving food baskets to under-resourced families in the Raleigh Area.  Each basket was prepared and distributed with love and was received with joy and gratitude.  By His Hands is truly an organization living out the Biblical mandate to love God and love others.     ----Karen Hoffman, former Church & Community Outreach Director, Raleigh Rescue Mission

I am proud to say Steve and Susan Coker are two of my best friends, therefore I can sincerely say the passion they share to feed the hungry is very real. Instead of talking, they acted on the need and created "byhishands" and along with dedicated volunteers, they are feeding the hungry in this very small sector of the world. Hours, days, months of hard work have been spent for the soul purpose of reaching out to persons unable to provide a nutritious meal for themselves and loved ones. As able bodied citizens, surely WE can give a few dollars to help "byhishands" continue the dynamic work which our Father has called upon the Cokers to fulfill.

By His Hands is a bright light in our community.  Steve Coker understands the homeless and hunger crisis in our community and he acts with conviction.  This organization has truly put a face on homelessness and poverty.  Steve and Susan are lifting up our neighbors in need and walking the walk to help others.  May we all take a lesson from these two remarkable people. By His Hands is changing the landscape of homelessness in Wake County.  I am inspired to follow this example.

When Christ said "Feed My Sheep", Steven Coker took it literally! To start such a massive project took courage. The need was there. The solution of feeding so many of Raleigh's poor and hungry took determination and the coordinated efforts of many of Steven's colleagues. Hats off to all who have put themselves in service to feeding the poor and the hungry through By His Hands of North Carolina. Hats off to Susan for supporting this effort and believing in her husband. I am proud to know these loyal Tigers!

Watching the exciting miracle and blessing that Steve worked last year at Thanksgiving , truly shows how just one person can make a difference.  Knowing the mission he was called to do , seeing the mission carried out meal by meal for and entire neighborhood is a holiday memory I was glad to be a part of.....

What a blessing this ministry has been to so many in need!  Steve and Susan are truly answering the call of feeding the hungry in order to share God's love with them.  I can't wait to be part of this amazing outreach in the future!   :)

I hope everyone is enjoying this Christmas Season. It is certainly one of my favorite times of the year! I wanted to let everyone know that we are currently in the planning stages for the Point In Time Event 2018 which will take place at the end of January. This is a national event, and it is an event with the primary goal of assessing the demographics of the Homeless Communities. I am very pleased that this will be By His Hands fourth consecutive year of partnering with The Raleigh-Wake Partnership to End & Prevent Homelessness. By His Hands has become one of the leading partners associated with this event. This year, By His Hands will be providing (750) Raleigh Transit daily bus passes, (250) Hand Warmers, (250) Knit Hats, (250) Pairs of Gloves, (250) Pairs of Socks, (250) Fleece Ear Wraps, (250) Fleece Scarves, (250) Hygiene Kits, which will include Deodorant, Mouthwash, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Body Wash, Shampoo, and Wash Cloths. I am happy to announce that By His Hands has already secured these items. I am also very happy to announce that everything we do for the Homeless is 100% brand new. We are now trying to collect funds to purchase (250) $5.00 McDonald's coupons to provide to the Homeless at this event. Would you consider helping us with a donation to allow us to be able to provide food sustenance to those in need? If you have a warm shelter, if you have food on your table, and if you have clothing, would you consider helping those who don't? This is the season of giving and it is my prayer that you will become relevant within those lives in desperate need, and right here in our community. Because of you, We are Making a Stand and Reaching Out to those in need!
